The HPA Office Letter Packet Service was created in Spring 2018 when we decided to discontinue the HPAE Committee Letter Process. For students and alumni applying to Medical, Dental, or Optometry School, the HPA Office can submit a letter packet as part of your application process. The HPA Office will submit letter packets for students and alumni who apply from early summer when application services open until September 1st.
The App State HPA Office Letter Packet includes:
- A cover letter from our office explaining our process
- Two letters from science faculty who taught you in class
- One letter from a clinician who has observed you in a clinical setting
- One letter from someone that can describe your interpersonal and intrapersonal competencies like your academic advisor, a non-science faculty member, a club/organization advisor, employer.
- One letter is an open ended choice
