Admissions Exams
Admission Exam scores are heavily factored in the selection process for most health professions programs. The admissions exam scores often correlate to a student’s ability to pass the professions licensure exams. Because the majority of admissions exams are science content driven, it is imperative to complete most (if not all) of the program pre-requisite courses prior to preparing for the exam. In addition, you should plan to spend 3-6 months preparing for the exam. The one exception is for those who need to take the GRE. The GRE is not a science content driven exam and similar in structure and scoring to the SAT.
